Rune Caster

Rune Caster is a free app giving you free rune readings on your smart phone. The Elder Futhark is the oldest set of runes, comprising of 24 individual letters. Cast the Runes to get insight and answers to all of your life questions. With Rune Caster you will be able to:

- Cast your runes for free as often as you like
- Choose between 3 different spreads, single rune, 3
runes or fork spread and a 5 rune spread or Cross.
- Choose between 22 different rune designs
- Click on each rune for detailed meanings including rune reversals

Runes are letters from the Germanic alphabets used before the adoption of the Latin alphabet and inscriptions have been found from as early as AD150.
Runes are widely used to gain insight, guidance and answer questions. The runic alphabet we are using is called the Elder Futhark. Traditionally, runes would be made from wood or stone and were engraved or painted with each symbol, then placed in a bag. To read the runes, you would think of a question to ‘ask’ the runes and then draw the number of runes required for your chosen ‘spread’.

About the Spreads

A ‘spread’ is the layout of the runes as you read them, different spreads work well for different situations. Some of the popular spreads are:

Single rune: Picking a single rune or ‘one rune spread’ is great for a quick answer or quick insight into a situation or dilemma.

Cross: gives a very comprehensive view of a situation, it uses 5 runes. The left rune is an element of your past, middle rune an element of the present, the top rune is a force working with you, bottom rune an element working against you and the right hand rune is an element of the future.

Fork: Is good to use at turning points in life and can help with important decisions. Three runes are used in this spread to give insight into varying possible outcomes and the critical underlying factor. The left rune represents one outcome, the right rune another possible outcome and the bottom rune represents a critical factor in shaping the outcome.

How To Use

Rune Caster is really quick and easy to use, simply choose your spread, 1, 3 or 5 runes, think of your question and click ‘Cast Runes’ your runes will appear on the screen, touch each rune to get a detailed meaning of each rune. From the main menu you can customise your runes, there are 22 different designs to choose from.
